The generalized Lyapunov exponents describe the growth of the second moments for a particular solution of the quasi-1D Schroedinger equation with initial conditions on the left end. Their possible application in the Anderson transition theory became recently a subject for controversy in the literature. The approach to โฆ
We reply to the critique of our results raised by Aleiner, Altshuler and Gershenzon (AAG) in cond-mat/9808078 and cond-mat/9808053. We demonstrate that our path integral analysis fully reproduces the results of AAG if analyzed on a perturbative level. This should settle the issue of "missing diagrams" in our calculatioโฆ
In the preprint cond-mat/0408050 M. V. Cheremisin noticed that some results (namely Fig. 4) of our recent work (cond-mat/0407364) have been taken from his paper cond-mat/0405176. As clear from the caption to Fig. 4 as well as from the text of our paper, we did not consider the curves shown in that Figure as our originaโฆ
In the present work we reply to the Comment by Catalan and Scott (cond-mat/0607500) on two of our papers. This Comment has been rejected from publication in Physical Review Letters and, hence, our Reply is based on the cond-mat version.โฆ
We show that the choice of the sign of the hopping matrix in our impurity band model for disordered III-V diluted magnetic semiconductors [PRL 87, 107293 (2000); cond-mat/0111045] is justified: with this choice, the impurity band is placed inside the gap and it has a mobility edge, as expected for a disordered system. โฆ
A short reply to Jarzynski's comment cond-mat/0509344 on my paper ``Flaw of Jarzynski's equality when applied to systems with several degrees of freedom'' (cond--mat/0508721) is presented.โฆ
We comment on recent numerical experiments by G.Hed and E.Domany [cond-mat/0608535v2] on the quenched equilibrium state of the Edwards-Anderson spin glass model. The rigorous proof of overlap identities related to replica equivalence shows that the observed violations of those identities on finite size systems must vanโฆ
The inconsistency of cond-mat/0007299 and Phys. Rev. B 63 094510 (2001) with ARPES and resistivity data is pointed-out.โฆ
Samuely et al. (cond-mat/0503153) make the strong claim that our letter is 'contradicting several established experimental results'. As we will show below this is not justified and the claims from are based on a misinterpretation of our results.โฆ
In a recent preprint (cond-mat/0601398), D. Funfschilling and G. Ahlers describe a new effect, that they interpret as non-Boussinesq, in a convection cell working with ethane, near its critical point. They argue that such an effect could have spoiled the Chavanne {\it et al.} (Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 79} 3648, 1997) resuโฆ
